Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Architect to lead the preparation of technical drawings and ensure the flawless execution of design concepts into detailed construction documentation. This role requires strong expertise in technical detailing, building codes, and coordination between design and site teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee detailed technical drawings for architectural and interior projects.
- Translate design concepts into comprehensive technical packages (plans, sections, elevations, joinery details, and BOQs).
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Review shop drawings and material submissions for approval.
- Ensure all drawings align with local building regulations, codes, and project specifications.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field.
- 0+ years of experience in the same role or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building codes.
- Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills.
- Residency in Cairo or willing to reallocate.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (SketchUp, Rhino, 3DSMAX or similar).
- Proficiency in English written and spoken.
- Strong understanding of MEP coordination and integrated design solutions.
- Experience with luxury residential and commercial projects.
